Register with Your County MH/ID Office

The very first step in applying for disability services is to register with the County Mental Health/Intellectual Disability (MH/ID) Office in the county where you live.
In Pennsylvania, every county has an office that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. Some counties share an office, but services are available statewide.

Your County MH/ID Office is responsible for:
-
Determining eligibility
-
Starting the intake process
-
Connecting you to supports and waiver services
